This Week with Brett: Missouri Stories, Campaign Filming, Veterans, Families, and Community Events 

Welcome back to our weekly campaign update! Each week, we’re sharing Brett’s activities along the campaign trail as he meets the Missouri voters whose thoughts and ideas are shaping his campaign to represent Missouri’s Fifth District in Congress. 

Last week, Brett spent three days filming upcoming campaign commercials across Missouri. These videos highlight his root in rural Missouri, his connection with family, and his belief that a representative’s first duty is exactly what the Constitution describes: to listen to the people, represent their will, and help turn their hopes for the American Dream into reality. 

The commercials will feature close family as well as new friends and supporters demonstrating Missouri values across the district and highlighting Brett’s policies that turn those values into action. That includes restoring rural hospitals, keeping promises to our veterans, strengthening opportunities for homeownership, supporting Missouri agriculture, and helping families in rural and urban communities alike build a better future that includes affordable homeownership. 

Brett also spent the week meeting with constituents across the district and beyond, from Knob Noster to Sedalia, Warrensburg to Moberly, and communities in between. Along the way, he visited with veterans, families, small business owners, workers, parents, and neighbors who shared what a brighter future in Missouri looks like to them. 

We are especially grateful to the Missourians who welcomed Brett into their communities over the past week, shared their stories, and a special few who even joined us in recording scenes for the campaign commercials. Their voices and experiences are at the heart of this campaign, because this race is not about politics as usual. It is about listening closely, showing up consistently, and fighting for the people who work, serve, build, farm, raise families, and keep Missouri strong. 

Brett is also proud to have attend several outstanding community events, including Moberly Railroad Days, the McKinley Freedom Rally, and Lee’s Summit Days. Events like these are a reminder of what makes Missouri special: strong families, proud traditions, local businesses, veterans who continue to serve their communities, and neighbors who still believe that America’s best days are ahead of us.
