This Week with Brett: Howard County, Small Businesses, Veterans, and Missouri Agriculture

Welcome to our first weekly campaign update. Each week, we’ll share a quick look at where Brett has been, who he’s meeting, what he’s learning from Missouri families, and how those conversations are shaping the path to Capitol Hill.
Brett led into last weekend with an outstanding Howard County Meet & Greet, where he had the opportunity to speak directly with engaged constituents and answer thoughtful questions during a lively Q&A session. The energy in the room made one thing clear: Missourians are paying attention, asking serious questions, and bringing real ideas to the table about the future of our state and our country.
Brett also spent time meeting with local small business owners and hearing more about the challenges they face every day. Those conversations gave him an even deeper understanding of what Missouri entrepreneurs need in order to grow, hire, serve their communities, and protect the strength of our local economy.
Today, Brett is in Centralia, Missouri, honoring our veterans at a Memorial Day flag ceremony with the local VFW. Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy were secured by men and women who gave everything. Brett is grateful for the opportunity to stand with veterans, families, and neighbors in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Brett is also honored to have the opportunity to address the county trustees at the Missouri Farm Bureau in person. Missouri’s agricultural communities are essential to our economy, our way of life, and the American dream itself. His plan to help open foreign markets for American agricultural products is only the beginning. He is also committed to restoring rural hospitals, strengthening local economies, and fighting for the American Dream for the families who feed and sustain this nation.
Later this week, you can find Brett at the Knob Fair in Knob Noster, MO. Brett’s booth will be right in front of the Lost Art Tap Room at the corner of State Street and McPherson. Stop for a selfie with Brett and become part of our “We Are Missouri’s Fifth District” photo collage.
Thank you for following along, staying engaged, and helping build a campaign rooted in ideas to better the lives of Missouri families.
More to come soon.
